Today 12/27 marks the memory of the massacre of almost 1400 children, and elderly men and women in Gaza in 2008. Just like the world insists on remembering 9/11, what happened to Gaza must never be forgotten. Share this in memory of all those innocent humans who were killed.

Human beings so seldom notice it when they are happy…so I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, “If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.

Christmas
The holiday season is filled with love and joy and lights and people and hot cocoa and pretty much everything great! But every year, when Christmas comes around, its always the most dreary boring day of my life, being someone who’s never celebrated it. I love all the emersonian style secret santas I do with my friends, but when it comes down to the actual day, we don’t do anything not to mention everything is closed and everyone is busy having a great time, or at least an…interesting time.. But this year I’ve reflected upon my feelings a lot more. Most years the day of boredom hits me right in the face, but this year I’ve been watching it approach, perhaps in order to prepare. I really wish to at least be able to carry the spirit if not the traditions with me this year. In the absence of Christmas trees and a special organized dinner, maybe I’ll get my family some gifts, and maybe I’ll attempt to have a happier time with them, and hopefully we can go out to a Chinese restaurant like we usually do (no my Jewish friends, you aren’t the only ones ;)) but the day is hoped for and dreaded, it concludes a season that’s one of my favorites, a boring day that welcomes a time of cold wintry chill without the warmth of the holiday season, but yeah, I’ll try to keep it going!
